I don't know why, the thought just occurred to me.

Life is a blooper reel.

We all have bits we want to cut out, and leave behind - things we'd rather forget. Things that don't seem necessary, or valid, or just don't have a point any more. How awesome it would be to be able to completely cut out the bits we don't like, and edit our lives into something we can be proud of.

What would you cut? If you cut the boring and the bad times, are you still the same person at the end of the 'movie'? Would you go crazy with the scissors and cut yourself out of existence?

It's an interesting thought, how every type of experience contrubites to the wider picture.

If live was a blooper real, it would be on continuous cock-up, no? Indeed there would be no light at the end of the tunnel, no silver lining on your storm cloud, nothing but self humiliation and slurred speech. Not how I hope to live my life, you?

how incredibly intriguing and insightful lillus, lovely idea for a theme! There are definitely parts of meh life I would want to edit, but I think you would need to have editing powers in some kind of trust find, so you can't access them until you have the maturity and foresight and wisdom etc to edit it properly, without chucking some really important, character building, or hilarious and 21st worthy moments. It would be like every moment of your life was a sliding doors moment, but you had the power to choose an alternative....the mind boggles!
