Okay, it's been a long time since I've posted to this journal. But let me say, you are not unloved!

Since my last entry, I have moved to Melbourne, turned 19, and discovered the wonderful world of drinking. In fact, that's where I've just come from... the pub. Yep yep... not an alcoholic, but who needs to be when you're a lightweight?

My latest fad, has been hug crusades. The first one, I got thirty-four hugs. Tonight, I got fifty. That included all the bar staff, the DJ, and both the bouncers.

Speaking of bouncers, I managed to get half a packet of shapes off one! How cool is that! He was eating them, and they looked yum, so I asked if I could have one... he gave them all to me! I think he's my favourite bouncer. I've hugged him twice.

Also, I got two requests tonight at the pub. The first one, I got after I hugged the DJ, the second one, he was trying to find out what song we wanted to hear, and I yelled the loudest. It's all about Holy Grail man... Hunters and Collectors FOREVER!

It's weird, that tonight, all the new people I met were from my hometown. Soooo strange. There's a new girl in F Block who's from there... and there were two guys that were also from there. We were like, YEAH! COUNTRY KIDS TOGETHER MAN!

Chuckie hooked up with an Indian guy called Harry. I hugged everyone, but didn't pick up. Lachy isn't answering his phone, he didn't go out. He's probably sleeping. I wonder if he feels like I do! Hahhahaa. Will try again. My aim is to wake him up.

Okay. He answered.

So, he's at uni games. In Ballarat. Playing baseball.. they haven't won a game yet. I told him to win a game for me, but he said he'd rather win it for himself. I worry about that guy, and he thinks I'm a child. Apparently my hug crusades are childish and stupid... I tell you, what is more stupid? Me, who enjoys the simple things such as the way the sun reflects off a building, or him... who finds these sorts of things stupid? He needs a hug big time. Its sad to see someone who can't appreciate the little things in life. He's looking for something deep and profound... and he ain't gunna find it.

By the way, I spent all night tonight trying to steal Doobie's hat. I got it about three or four times, but he kept stealing it back when I wasn't paying attention. Damn him! I WANT THAT HAT! Chuckie and the guy who was buying me drinks stole it for me... cause Doobie doesn't trust me around his hat any more. I tried the sad eyes.. but they don't work. Cause well, I was never much good at giving them anyway.

Anyway... that's tonight. I hope Lachy's team does win a game... at least one. It'll be for me, damnit. I don't care what he says. And, I hope he smiles when they do. He really doesn't smile enough, I think.

8. Noode Face was supposed to be Noodle Face... except Katie can't spell.
9. My last mark in English was 20/30. My last mark in Maths was 9/50. Go figure.

Okay, so MumblingIdiot tagged me, and everyone unfortunate enough to read his journal. Damn him! So, as I have to, here are 20 things you probably don't know about me.

1. I am 166cm tall. Or short. Bite me.
2. My middle name is also a month. Damned if I'm telling you which one!
3. My shoe size ranges between size 6, and 8 and a half.
4. I absolutely HATE the colour orange.
5. The three primary schools I went to all had uniform colours on the Australian flag. (Which does not have a red leaf on it, Catalyst).
6. I'm currently in music, and trying not to cry today.
7. I have a nasty habit of pairing turquoise socks with pink jumpers. (And yes, you can see my socks.)
8. Brodie likes AC/DC. So do I!
9. I also like Alice Cooper.. get over it!
10. Although I hate Apple Mac, I wouldn't say no to an itty bitty iBook...

Yes, that’s right… Mousie and Neko are holding their very first contest. It will be run in two parts, both sections will have a first, second and third place awarded. Entries will be judged according to creativity, accuracy in interpretation, and generally just what Mousie likes. Assisting the judging will be Lolo (NekoNeko23, duh. ), the co-writer of the original characters.

This contest will run from the date this journal is posted, until the 3rd of January.

Unfortunately, due to Mousie being poor she is unable to afford a subscription for herself, let alone the contest winners… but the prizes (so far) are as follows:

Mousie’s Freakishly Cool Contest Part A ::

Make a picture. Easy! But, it has to feature certain characters. I’m interested to see how other people interpret the descriptions of the characters that I, and my good friend NekoNeko23 love to death. So, all you have to do is create a picture featuring one (or more) of the following:

David Tallenery
Mereditha Adagathguarde
Adele DeVylissea

How easy is that! They can be doing absolutely ANYTHING! Well, within reason… this is a family show. I don’t care whether your entry is a photomanipulation, done in 3D, a collage or anything… I just want to see how you interpret the characters.

All that said, allow me to go on to Part B.


Mousie’s Freakishly Cool Contest Part B ::

This one (if you ask me) is slightly harder. I want you to write a story… using our characters. As above, I don’t care what the story is about, often the stranger the better. Happy endings are totally optional, and even the rules of real life can be broken. For instance, stories that have already been written include:

* David getting pregnant.
* Adrian using a self-help book to overcome his terrible shyness.
* Meri dying in a tragic car accident.
* Adele and Dave flirting in a bar… whilst she plots to kill him.
* Teen Queen Meri succumbing to peer pressure, and nearly killing asthmatic Adrian with cigarette smoke.
* Adrian turning out to be a secret agent (married to another woman) hired to save Mereditha from an evil plot to claim Australia back for England and its Queen.

You get the idea. I’m totally, and completely insane. Now it’s your turn. Using the character references, create your own story… be it serious, hilarious or just plain twisted. You could even write a story about one of the supporting characters if you like, as long as it mentions (at least once) one of the four main ones above. Introduce your own characters! This is your story… not mine. I just want to read it!

However, there are a few unbreakable rules! Here they are… not too hard to follow!

1. Adrian will only ever be truly happy with Meri.
2. David will only ever be truly happy with Adele.
3. David and Adrian will never… *cough*… encounter as more than brothers. That is just weird.

See? Easy enough. That said, there are no rules saying you can’t make them absolutely miserable, or that love even has to enter into it. Maybe Meri ends up with Dave because he’s a gold digger and wants her Father’s money? Hey, I don’t know… you’re writing this one!
